I am building my own lift ( more time and tools than money). I am thinking about moving both wheels forward 2" and out an inch or two. What do yall think ? Am I missng something ? Looks like it will work

Re: Homemade lift question ??
Will six inches be enough ? I forgot to mention that I am going to run 23 " tires in the future. I have 22`s off my other cart that I will put on till I save enough for aluminum wheels and 3 Carlisle 23 8 12 `s . I bought 1 brand spankin new one at a garage sale Saturday morning for 10 dollars .

I see jakes offers 23s with their 6" spindle lift which also has forward and width improvements..... You are on your own kinda. You are your own engineer.... keep us posted.

Re: Homemade lift question ??
NO turning back I took the square tubing off because I did not like the angle. I am going to re attach it so it is square with the length of the cart instead of the way it was. what are those two pieces for, that the 1/2" flatbar is welded to ? Do they serve a purpose? I am going to take the flat bar off. It was holding a 2 " ball on the front.

Re: Homemade lift question ??
Those pieces held the original front bumper. Looks like you don't need them.
