Re: I have juice but the cart won't move!
i just purchased a used 1994 hyandaii golf cart, the batteries were shot so we replaced them with six brand new ones. it cost more than the cart itself. anyways we plugged in the charger which seems to be working but after driving it a few times around the neighborhood it died and evern with a full charge will not move, could it be the solonoid? i ordered a new one but just trying to get some feed back, i am a do it yourselfer so? thank you for any feedback

Post your battery voltages here. It sounds like maybe they are not charged.

He doesnt understand "the 6v range" is not a valid indication of State of charge? Mind posting each battery voltage to the hundredth of a volt (example- 6.31v)?

Well got my new solonoid in themail today and while taking the other one off found a broken resistor wire on the solonoid could that have been the problem? hubby is out looking for someone who sells this type of wire in the meantime. then we will see if that fixes the problem.

Re: I have juice but the cart won't move!
Sorry if i came off as a jerk, not intended, but we need solid info to help, not "6 volt range" numbers. I intended no offense. If you want to work on your own electric cart, you will have to be willing to familiarize yourself with a voltmeter. Didnt mean to "run you away".
