Shock Leaking???
I was looking at the front of my ST350 yesterday and noticed that the passenger side shock bushings looked greasy compared to the driver side. Ran my finger over it to find some kind of oil.
The only thing in that area that has any kind of oil is the shock, right? I was looking at how to replace it if needed. Looks like a lot of fun... |

Re: Shock Leaking???
Good video, CTD.
Yup, shocks (most of 'em anyhow) contain oil that as they age will begin to leak sometimes. If one's bad enough to leak, obviously so is the other either now or before long, so you'll want to replace them both. If the rears are the same age, well... you know what I'm gonna say next. |

Yeah. They're all the same age, 93yellowclubcar. About 14yrs old or so.
I'll have to watch the video when I get home Crash... |

Re: Shock Leaking???
Front shocks are ordered and will probably be here sometime after the holiday.
I was looking over the back shocks and they look okay for the short term. I was wondering if anyone has come across automotive style air shocks that would work on the rear of the ST350. I was thinking of going to air shocks to smooth the ride out some. |

Thanks for the video, I had both shocks swapped out in about 30 minutes or so. The rear shocks are next. Now, I noticed the front end bounces a little. I think that either the tire has issues or the rim does on the passenger side. |
