2001 Cushman Textron parts

Hi,

My husband (David) has picked up a 2001 Cushman Textron Spraytek with dump bed that he has been trying to get up and running. He was able to replace the hydraulics and get the dump working, replaced master cylinder and has brakes (although quite spongy) and got the motor running, however, there seems to be a large lack of power. The former owner appears to have damaged the park gear as it's non-existent and there is no emergency brake.

We aren't able to find much info on this particular model, but somewhere I had read that it could be the transmission or sprag clutch/gear? Does this sound right? And if so, does anyone know where we might be able to source a transmission rebuild kit and/or a used transmission?

Model 898605-318857, built 2001

additionally, anyone know of a parts list for this model?

Cushman became a model name for EZGO Golf Carts when Textron combined them under the EZGO trade name, so parts and manuals for the cart can be obtained from them. Spraytek is a separate company making spraying equipment. Both companies are in business. A Google search for each under the appropriate model numbers should provide considerable information.

Sorry, I don't have experience with anything Cushman or EZGO that new. Hope the above helps you get started finding your needs.

Thanks, I may have to just call them as I'm not finding a parts list for this one. The last owner did give us the repair manual, but it doesn't have the actual part numbers listed.

Most of those carts use the same parts so just depends on what you need.

Did a search on that model number 898605 on google and it comes back as a turf truckster.
