![]() First I will state that I have not had time to troubleshoot or research this, as we're off to the kids school, but I wanted to run this by the forum Gods to see if anyone had a though.
2000 Club Car DS 48 volt. Cart suddenly loss power and will not go, reports of a burning smell. That quickly faded. With the toggle switch in F and the Tow Run switch in TOW there is NO solenoid click at all, and the car will not go. WHAT is ODD, is that when I move the tow/run switch back and fourth, the solenoid makes a clicking noise, I can feel it clicking. NO other cart I've been around or mine, 2001 does this. When I move mine from tow to run there is no clicking on the soleniod. Thoughts? Troy |

![]() First of all U should not get, nor anyone else should get a solinoid click with the SW in TOW.
It disconnects the electronics. |

![]() The ones I have had my hand on are 1999 and 2000. But even the 2001-2002 parts manual shows that diagram and lists parts. My 01 is nothing like it, has an MCOR and 1 solenoid.

![]() Look at my ghosterdude IKE cart rebuild. Just got it up and running THIS week! Mine was NOT clicking...DROVE ME nuts. I know you said yours does click. But this was what resolved my non clicking problem.
The test: 1. turn the key to tow. 2. turn to run 3. If NO click sounds-You Jumper from {the top drivers side post on the controller} to {the passenger side solenoid- blue/whitestripe} *see crude attached paint file !!!!JUST TAP THE WIRE FOR A SECOND THEN REMOVE!!!! you should hear the solenoid click in. my mechanic just wired in a toggle switch in that line (the pink one in the pic) that I could cut on and off. *This is just manually doing what the controller is supposed to be doing for you. specifically the #3 pin on the controller if you wanna open er up and play computer geek. Let me know if this works for you too. Hang in there! |
