Default What type of paint to use, repainting

Im going to paint my 1997 G-16 something other than the factory white. When I cut out the body for headlights I saw that its made from some type of plastic and not fiberglass that I thought it to be. Is there any special paint and primer type to use onthe body. Thanks in advance..

There is a search tab in the blue bar at the top of the page. Type in paint?

Cool Re: What type of paint to use, repainting

Some O'Reilly auto parts stores sell automotive paint which will work great on your cart. Stop by there or find a local auto paint store and they can get you all of the advice and stuff you'll need.

You could just spray bomb it with gray primer and the color of your choice using a good brand of paint like Krylon or Rust o leum.

Good luck and post some pics of your project.

Rattle can paint, I suggest Fusion. I've used it several times and works great.
