92 G8 diagnosis needed.
Ok, if anyone remembers my previous post, i am starting a new thread. I have a 92 g8 cart (thanks guys (and gals if there are any) for help finding out what it is) it either has a short in the wiring, or the computing board is bad, or is it possible the cylinoids went bad just from sitting over a winter?
I bypassed the board, cyllinoids, and wiring, and it went backwards and forwards on its own power with 3 12-volt batteries in it. Admittedly, it went forward and back by touching the batteries straight to the f/r switch, but it worked XD now all i need to know is how to test to see what is bad. If this thread gets no response on how to do it, i will start by rewireing most of the cart. Anyone got any ideas? |

Re: 92 G8 diagnosis needed.
Follow the wiring diagram. See where you have the issue before you start randomly replacing parts. If you jumped through the F/R switch to the motor and the motor ran you've confirmed those two parts function. Lots of other possibilities: Ignition key switch, pedal stop switch, limit switches, solenoids and every plug and stretch of wire on the cart.
