May have found one
After asking gas or electric in another thread, and most said gas, I happened on to an ad for this cart. It's a 1991 CC. Don't have a lot of info on it as of yet, aside from the guy that has it, is at a car dealer and uses it on the lot. He did tell me the steering wheel is bent a little, though by the picture it doesn't look like it's a big deal.
Is a bent steering column something that comes with guys on the golf course, that should probably be walking instead of riding, leaning on the column too much when getting in and out? Also why does the picture of the top look odd? To me it looks like it's not a smooth top the way I thought it would be. Here's some pics, hope I get them on here right. Thought I could get them in as a thumbnail, but not that smart it seems. If possible maybe one of the mods could change this for me. Thanks. He's asking $1000, sound about right? |

Re: May have found one
I paid $1300 for my 90 & the same amount for my 99. My 90 has everything to make it street legal. I think thats a fair price. I mean if you can get it cheaper by all means try. My top looks the same, a lil warped but i could carfe less

I'll have to check the thread on finding out what year cart you have so I can check when I go see it. It may be that is what he was told when he got it.

Looks like a pretty slick cart, should be a great start! Around here (s.e Kansas) that would be a pretty good price for that cart, as gas carts are in high demand. I'm sure it's different everywhere, but with all the farmers, ranchers and rural living gas carts seem a little harder to come by here. Good luck and keep us updated

Re: May have found one
I have a customer that told me he had a friend that had a CC he was going to sell. Haven't heard back on that one yet, so I may have to call him tomorrow and let him know I'm looking at another one. The one my customer told me about has a new engine, and I'd know where it came from, so I like that. But it doesn't hurt to have two you're looking at to work on the price.
I'd use mine around the farm and for hunting or just going to the river, so whatever one I get, I'll need to look for some bigger tires with more traction. Not really sure I want to go as far as a lift kit. My ground isn't that rough, so just bigger tires will help some with clearance. At least that's my uneducated guess. I'm thinking once I buy that first cart, my education will pick up dramatically. |

Ok, found out the other cart is available. Not sure what year, but the engine is only 2 years old with very little use. Asking price is $1500.
I'll see the cart tomorrow. If cart quality is close to the same and we're talking carts within a few years of each other, is the newer engine worth an extra $500? |

Yes it could be, Because of the good price, If at all possible, think about buying both, Keep the one with new motor and sell the other for $1500.00, a $500 profit.
Or for that price, keep both, you know you might need it if momma gets a like'in for yours. |

I can see new tires and rims, and a paint job. There is something to be said for buying both. If I could knock $250 off of each, I'd be at $2000 for both. Have to see what the second one looks like tomorrow. |
