Default 6" Lift for 91, Gas cart

I have a 1991 DS Gas cart and im looking at putting a lift on it. My question is the 6" lift says it will clear 22" tires then when i look at tires for the 22" tires it says you need a 8" lift for them to clear? which is right, wrong or both? and will the stock rims work or do i need offset rims also? I want to run just plain black steel rims so i was planning on painting my stock ones.

22's will clear fine with a 6 inch lift , will work on a 3 inch lift. and yes you will need an offset rim , for a few reasons tire will rubb stering arms if not offset, need the wider stance for better stabillity, and yes you can get 8' or 10 ' rims in plain steel in black, white, silver, the 8" rims will run about $16 bucks each and the 10" are around $20 each. or a wheel /tire combo with the steel rim for all 4 will run around $380
and 23" tire will run on a 6 inch lift as well might run into some rubbing in extreem situations or over load

Cool, Ordered the 6" a-arm lift and picked up a set of 22" tires. Got the cart all tore down right now cleaning it up re-painting a few things and putting the oil splasher arm in the motor while im waiting on parts to come in. Will post pictures when its done!
