Default More Power/Speed from KF82

Im just wondering my options with my current motor (KF82) for Power and or speed. I just purchased a 6" Lift w/ 22" tires and i know im gonna lose some. I have been looking into the clutch machining and have ordered the spring kit for the clutch and also a new drive belt.

Default Re: More Power/Speed from KF82

We shaved 50 thousand off of the head on a rebuild KF82 once and I was impressed with how much more punch the little motor had. The little higher compression helped it maintain power on the hills but, wasn't so much that the starter had any trouble...
