Question Club Car Eng Swap Ideas

New here-Been reading many help posts from the regulars. Seem like many good idea ppl here. I just acquired 1990 Gas Club Car from my cousin. She was told the engine was pretty much shot so she bought new cart. There's not a scratch anywhere on this cart-frame or body. Engine looks like just installed. I'm in the hills of NorCal & would like more pep in the next engine I install. OK-To the question. Are there any compatible snowmobile engines that may not need alot of fab work to install in this cart? My neighbor owns a Polaris dealership & just needs to know what may be used to replace these engines. He has many used from crashed snowmobiles & I just need info for him. Sorry to ramble.

On a 90 model you could use a clone or briggs engine since your lucky to have the correct rotation rearend.look under the big block section here or search what your looking for.
