Default busted housing

Gents: I'm in search of the inner housing plate for a 92 CC F/R transmission. When I got this cart back a few years ago the differential was locked up. Fixed that by replacing a frw bearings in the drive. Ever since then it has been growling and thiught I'd tear into it and see just what's wrong. Found the removable aluminum inner plate cracked where the nut holds the gear that feeds the govenor. I don't know but I don't think it can be welded. So - Anyone know a part number or where a person mught find this from?? Help - Desperate in Illinois

Thanks -- T

Gleemo & Shadowman - Thanks for the comeback. Upon further investigation found this to be cast aluminum. Therefore having a very good friend who has a tig welder, he was nice enough to weld the cracked housing back together. I hand filed the machined surfaces with a file and a straight edge. Tapped out a new gasket and just finished bolting it back together. Filled it with gear lube and so far (knock on wood) No leaks - I hope. I really do appreciate you getting back and telling me that my request was out there but that no one had an answer.

Thanks again
Tom
