thanks it looks a lot stronger and stiffer than a stock belt may have to call tom @ cpp tomorrow and get hooked up

37 3/8 is correct. The belt is not measured around the OD, While this will give you a ball park measurement the belt is actully measured at the cord length. If you look at belt from the side you will see the cords are about 1/8" from the outside surface. Thats where the measurement is taken. There is a special way to measure them.
The "Severe Duty" belts are made with the same compound as a 150HP snowmobile belt and instead of polyester cords they have kevlar cords also as mentioned eariler they are also double cogged for cooler running. For reference a standard OEM golf cart belt is made of compond rated up to 40 HP. The imported belts????? Who knows what they are made of. Nobody will even put thier name on them. |
