It took a full fuel pump tear down to figure that one out the very first time!

Hey thanks guys for all your suggestions. Just so I'm clear your saying that there is a screen in side the fuel pump? I will check it out also someone told me to change the fuel lines. If there old he said that gets overlooked all the time. Either way I'll let you know on sunday what I found out.

the screen is on the front of the pump in the center a little brass screen the size of a nickel you can,t miss it...........................

Hey just got a chance to give you all an update it was something in the fuel line. I change the feul lines, blew out the pump, checked filters which were just put on in may and took down the float bowl which was surprisingly clean. Made sure feul was open and presto its running champ now. So once again thanks for all the insight. I'm learning by trial and error.
