Club Car won't stay running
93 gas club car, starts and runs for about a minute, then quits, rolls over and starts again, then quits, but now the crankcase is full of gas. Drained crankcase, put in new oil & filter and new fuel pump, took carb off and cleaned all to no avail. How is the gas getting into crankcase and why?

Re: Club Car won't stay running
Sounds like the needle in carb is not seating and letting gas come in??

Re: Club Car won't stay running
Just to let everyone know what was the problem with my cart. After putting on new fuel pump and cleaning carb all to no avail. I had a buildup of dirt and other debris in the carb VENT line, I cut off about an inch and the cart runs just fine again. Thanks!

Re: Club Car won't stay running
Club Cars are famous for muddobbers filling that line.
I lost alot of hair resolving that issue with mine. I got a intank chainsaw/weedeater fuel filter and put on the end of the hose. (and then got a hat!) |
