Default Garage door clearance

I currently do not have a top on my ds, it is lifted 6" with 23 inch tires. My question is if I add a top will it go into the garage still

No, you'll probably need to build a bigger garage. That's what most of the guys here do.

Depends on how fast you are going

However on the serious side, with 23's and a 6in lift it is gonna be close. Depends on which top as well. My EZ with 22's, 4in lift and the long top clears by 1/2in

The first question to the first question is how high is your door?

I have 7" of lift with 25" tires, my garage opening is around 6' 10" and I have an inch or so extra clearance.

Mine is an 01 ds with the first year of the newer rounded top, 8" lift with 24" tires and my cart at the highest point of the roof is 6' 7". So yours would be 2 1/2 inches shorter with a 6" lift and 23" tires caz the inch difference in the tire half of that inch is on the bottom and the other is on top Wich does not apply.

[QUOTE=kgsc;607120]Depends on how fast you are going

LOL I told my wife this one

I did measure the door, but still had no idea how tall the cart would be with the roof installed. ( I had no roof )

So anyways I bought the roof installed it and still had about an inch to spare.

Thanks for all the help
