Default 2016 EZGO s4 carb.

I ran the cart out of gas. Now it runs about half power if at all.
Replaced the fuel filter, gas pump but I'm afraid it's the carb.
can anybody recommend a good, CHEAP replacement?

thanks

Running out of gas doesn't ruin a carburetor.

Disconnect the fuel line from the carb and blow some air into the tank until you have fuel flowing from the line.

Agree. If you ran it out of gas there’s also a good chance you picked up a piece of dirt or something in the pickup tube in the tank. That tube isn’t very big and doesn’t take much to clog it.

If all the lines are clear it should self prime the line in a few seconds and run fine.

If you used a cheap fuel pump, put the original back on. The cheap ones generally aren’t worth the box they came in. I’ve had them bad out of the box and I think the best one I had lasted about 3 weeks before it quit.

Back at it....I replaced the carb. and the cart is running exactly the same.
it seems to be the timing??? it is spitting back out the carb. as it runs badly?
could it have "Jumped" timing as my buddy says(whatever that is)
