Default helo from a newper

I have a Yamaha G9 and a 76 HD 3 Wheel. I have already rebuilt the Harley's mechanics. It isn't good looking yet. I tried to rebuild the Yamaha and it did a good job for a while. Has a knock now (explained in another post). And the coil or ? went out last week and am trying to get a history of problems here (coil, igniter or ?). I think this forum will be a good one! Thanks PV5.

I would start with a Club Car to fix all your problems.

I like Club Cars too. I have a friend in Kentucky that has one. It is fast and reliable. Cash seems to get in my way when I need to expand my golf cart stable. My Harley runs good and everything is easy to get to when there is a need to clean and lube.

While I am here, I replaced a shock on the Harley and it was double acting (resistance in both ways) are other golf carts the same? I started to use a VW shock but it was a single acting shock so I got a double.

I know that Club Car shocks are. I have never paid attention to any of the others. Yamahas have coilovers so they return to the same position no matter what.

Were you replacing the single shock in the rear of the cart?

Yes, I replaced the single rear shock. It was no acting and slid real easy. It was the original oil filled. It had the old MAECO number on it so I replaced it with the same number. I had to cut off the upper sleeve for it to fit. Monroe had added that to the new gas version.
