jerky start

working on a 48 volt President. It jerks a couple of times when the pedal is pushed down both forward and reverse. After that it runs strong. Batteries check out good. Where do I look?

I had a similar issue and it ended up being the MCOR. Depending on the year depends on which version you have. 3 or 4. David Hicks over at Revolution Golf Carts can help with that and he has plenty in stock. He's a site sponsor as well.
