Default 1999 G16 carburetor??

Just got the cart. It will start and run but when going half to full throttle it will bog down. If I pull the choke it seems to help it but still will not plane out.

Bad carburetor or am I missing something else.

Read the stickys on "so your yamaha will not run". It could be your fuel pump, loose or leaky gaskets, vacuum leak someplace. You need to go throught it more. Sounds like fuel starvation.

I agree, it acts like fuel starvation too.
I took the carb off, replaced the gaskets, cleaned it, replaced the fuel lines, fuel filter and vacuum line. Guess I will pull apart the pump and check it out next. Oh yea, I also checked the vacuum line for blockage into the crankcase. Am I missing anything else?

Air filter clean? Carb float needle valve clean and not sticking? Looks like you coverd it all except the pump.
