No flooding around here, yet...We got a lot of wind so a lot of small limbs in the yard. I was up @ 5 am chasing my trash can down the street and the wind blew the cover off of the Olds. All and all we were very lucky. How about you?

We had some pretty rough wind today, no limbs or trees down but lots of people's hair was kinda....."off." We didn't have any flooding, just higher creeks and river than usual.

I got the engine mounted up and ready to go:

OOPS! Forgot to put the heat shield back on. LOL Note the muffler.

Got er back on there.

New starter adjustment brackets:

Mounted up:

The local Napa (I forgot we had one about 10 minutes away ) Let me borrow his multi-meter, so hopefully we can get this wiring done up tomorrow.

Gotta make the starter work, longer belt:

16 gauge wire:

Fuses:

AHHH, The Relay! The brains behind it all!

Heated muffler and got it down and under control:

AANNDD!!! IT'S IN! Just doesn't run yet. And yes, I'm going to get a new breather hose. Electrical tape is NOT a permanent fix!

I think you should set up a camera when you are trying to do the wiring...it could be entertaining.

I don't know about tomorrow, but I can get you a video right now of me all dirty from working on that all day beating the living hell out of this computer. You have a shotgun I can use? I may just make it continually load and quit the same program until it commits suicide. Nah, I like the gun idea better.
