EZGO Gas 295 Robins Wont Start

I have an EZGO Gas cart with the 295 Robins engine - not sure of the year.
So far I have replaced the following: fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel lines, coil, plug wires, plugs, carburetor, air filter, oil.
I have also adjusted the valves to between .004 - .006
The engine turns over nicely, fuel is flowing through the fuel lines and I'm getting spark to the plugs, but it WONT START!

Do a compression check. I believe yours should be in the 140-160 range.

Thanks. That's my next step - just ordered a test kit from Amazon for $25. I'm really hoping that isn't the issue as I don't want to do a re-build.

Does the spark seem strong? Bluish color?

Compression is good - 146 on front and 150 on back. Sparks seem strong, nice and blue. I'm still stumped. Any other suggestions. I have fuel, spark and air. What else is there?

Do these motors have timing like a car? I'm new to golf carts just trying to help brain storm

They do. It's a belt driven timing system. The timing appears to be set correctly. I ordered another carburetor today with the hope that the first one is bad. There were a few reviews on the website that I purchased it from that stated they received a bad unit. Fingers crossed.

Are the plugs wet with gas after you try to start it? You could be flooding it for a variety of reasons. Are you getting full choke on the carb? Is there fuel in the bowl of the carb? My 2004 TXT has a drain you can take out of the bowl to check. Your float may be stuck not letting gas into the carb. If you turn over the engine with the fuel line unhooked from the carb, does it pump gas? You might try giving it a shot of ether after it sets a while ( sure it's not flooded) to confirm it's lack of fuel.

I would say floats stuck not allowing gas in try tapping on the carb maybe jar it loose good luck!

Hi, Had you any success with your EZGO buggy, having exactly the same problem and have tried everything I can possibly think off.
