I have a Walmart one and for $30, it’s better than stock housing mounted leds.

I don't need any more lights, just want to save some juice in the battery.

I replace the earlier halogens with those LEDs all the time. Same bezels, so it does fit the same. Depending on how old your light kit is the tail lights you have may already be LED. They've been providing LED tail lights with the halogen headlights kits for several years now.

One note though: the wiring harness for the LEDs are different than some in the halogen kits. I've had some that I needed to swap +/- at the light assemblies to get the LED to work on the harness from the halogens. The LED are polarity specific.

You're right..jogged my memory...I picked up harnesses and soldered them to place...search for
headlight harness replacement along with the bulb type (ie H11 led)
