That sounds like it may be the rear driven clutch stuck in occasionally and not releasing. This could be just due to dirt/dust build up, worn/broken ramp slider buttons, or maybe the spring is broken in the driven clutch. Next time it does it lift the seat and check that the driven clutch is not stuck.
