Spark pedal problem
My cart that I bought not running is driving me insane. I have wired it up with the hei ignition system. The starter runs when I push the pedal down. I only seem to get light on my inline spark checker right when I hit the pedal and right when I let of the pedal. Any idea why that is?

Re: Spark pedal problem
So I decided to mess with my wiring a bit more. Put heat skink around any terminals close to other terminals redid any that looked dodgy and double checked the wiring diagram again. Pushed the pedal once which made the spark tester brighter then tried again and no spark at all now. I wonder if my second ignitor has blown out? Are these somewhat prone to failure I got it at OReilly and I have it mounted on an old cpu heats sink with the grease it came with and the little nubs cut off. Note my ignition coil reads about 8600 ohms and and 1.7 ohms. Which seems to be okay.

Re: Spark pedal problem
Third hei module and it fires right up. It does not go very fast at all though so will be trying to fix that.
