Default 1978 fuel pump

Hi everyone my name is Mike and I am new here. I just got a 1978 ezgo that the fuel pump isn't working. Is there an alternative to rebuild. I cant seem to find a new one. Would a 82-88 fuel pump work on this? Thanks Mike

It's the same pump. You can see here that they also advertise a rebuild kit from 78 to 88.
https://www.golfcartking.com/ezgo-parts/fuel-pumps/ Another dealer advertises the same pump from 78-88.

You need to find out why the pump isn't working first. It could be the pump, or it could be the crankshaft seals.

You need to test your seals, read the third post down here: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...t-running.html
