Default Blow By !!

Still knocking around on whether it worth fixing..I have had post before on 87 ..244cc Robins in ezgo..It been a work horse for sure over many years.Hauling deer, rocks, fire wood and tons of fall leaves..I really hate to give her up..Cart started few years back not wanting to move.Starter would turn engine but it would not run on gas and move. This happened every once and a while.Other times it ran ok.Pulled engine to look at things. When turning engine I felt blow by on both crank seals.Don't have compression gauge..Just wondering Cart Around)..should this be some cause of not running proper..And new seals could help what?..

Bad crank seals will prevent the crankcase from producing the necessary 'pressure/vacuum' required to both suck in new fuel and force it into the upper cylinder, it will also prevent the fuel pump from pumping.......

Also, The seals have nothing to do with compression.

You should also take off the starter belt and check the crank for horizontal play, you shouldn't feel any lateral play cuz the bearings are pressed both onto the crank and also into the case....

My crank bearings were bad and I didn't know it as the starter belt was holding that end up tight. IF there is any play in the crank bearings they'll take out the new seals very quickly
