There is a bushing that I have replaced that presses in that housing. The bushing has a flange on it. Google EZGO Steering Rack Bushing (1994-00) Flanged Golf Cart Bearing
That will fix the slack in steering , at least it did when I worked for a living. |

That's perfect, thanks! I have a wheel bearing press that should work perfect if its tight to press it in. I need to downsize my cart collection a bit before I get too deep into thisone, but thanks that's exactly what I was looking for!
