Default 91 marathon no spark

Working on a marathon for a friend. Did the HEI ignition swap and it only ran for a few minutes. Can't get any spark now. Thinking about putting stock coil back on, but it wasn't hooked up when I started working on it. Now I would like to see a wiring diagram for a 91 marathon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's a 3pg 2 stroke, and not the twin cylinder 4 stroke, this is your wiring diagram with the HEI mod. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...n-retrofit.jpg

Thanks for the diagram. I had the HEI mod installed and it ran. But only for a few minutes. Now I want to hook the stock coil back up but can't find a stock wiring diagram. The stock coil has a red and blue wire coming off of it and I need to know where those wire get hooked up. They are not to be confused with the red and blue wires that go from the the pulsar to the igniter assy.

This wiring diagram is the same as yours.
You most likely burned up the new module. It needs to be mounted flush to a heat sink with grease.

I had it mounted to a steel crossmember with the supplied grease in between. I have an 86 marathon that I am going to try the conversion on and see if the module is still good. I am wondering if the pulsar could be bad and if there is a way to check it.

You can check the pulser with a DVOM set on the lowest setting on AC scale. Connect one lead to each wire. Spin engine over while watching DVOM. You should get about 1/2 volt AC.

What did you do with the little nubs on the back of the module? They need to be filed off, or recessed into holes drilled in the heatsink.

There is a troubleshooting section in the back of the manual that tells you exactly what values to look for when testing the pulsar, and other components.

Removed the nubs. It was flat against the crossmember.
