Default 85 Elec No Go

What type of voltage should I see across the solenoids with the gas pedal depressed? Should each one have a drop or the whole pack itself?

The cart was running fine, then it took a bump coming off the trailer and now it won't go either direction. I do hear a click when I push the pedal.

Also, how is the speed pot suppose to be mounting. I notice that mine moves around as the pedal is depressed. I see full stroke of the arm, but it doesn't look right.

Micro switch box should not move at all.

Forget about voltage accross the solenoids, the system you have is way to easy to check to see if it is working right.

I'd look for a broken wire if after hitting a bump it stopped running.

Expalin the way too easy part...

It's got a lot of them, most of the lighting wires are broken. There is some sort device under the seat in the battery compartment, not a pressure switch, that has two knife blades with only one little wire connected two it coming off the positive teminal of the batteries. Nothing on the other side, but I can't even tell the purpose of it much less what if anything should still be connected there.

Is there a model type for this year cart? Serial is A8548-87XXX (can't read the last 3)

Count me in on this one. Wifey comes home with an A85 working fine. a week later as she riding across the building site it just stops. hasn't moved since. I hear the clicks when pressing pedal. Oh yea, this is my first golf cart to see under the seat.

I'm still not moving... verified that my 85 has been upgraded to a v-glide with single solenoid. Having trouble determining if motor is bad.
