I need some advice
This probably isn't the right "group", but since I have a Electric cc, will ask anyway. I found a 1981 Harley Davidson gas for sale (for my son), they're asking $500. Now, he says it runs great in reverse but doesn't have full power in forward. He's never had it checked out (he ended up buying a new one). So...could this just be something minor? Or could it be something major and end up costing more than it's worth?
Thanks for any help you can give me. |

I can't say much about it.. I bought a cart several years ago, it was a Par car with a Harley engine in it.. couldn't find parts ended up selling it .. it was a 80's model 3 wheeler.. maybe someone can chime in here

Re: I need some advice
If it is the older 2 stroke models, the timing may be off.
Those motor if I remember correctly, run backwards for reverse, and the timing can make a big differance. |
