Where do you find the date code on US Batteries and what is the code?

it should be a letter and a number stamped on the battery posts. The letter is the month (a=Jan B=Feb etc) and the number should be the year (4=2004 7=2007 etc) If you think they are very old, the number COULD be a decade older.

I see it stamped on the Pos post, this one is B0 which is Feb 2010.

The dealer just replaced my Trojans under warranty with US Battery. Mine are marked A-0X. I guess that means Jan. 2010.

Date code on trojan is a little different - take the battery out of the golf cart, look at the flat part of the negative post, if you see one letter and one number, that's it! letter stands for the month and number is the year.
