Re: club cart vibrates then dies
Your 48v pack is DEAD at 45.5v. Not enough to power the motor. You need to charge each battery with an automotive charger for a while until the cart charger is happy with the voltage it "sees" when you plug up. Then the cart charger can finish the job. Be sure the plates are covered with distilled water before any charging is attempted.

Re: club cart vibrates then dies
Its time to get a hydrometer with single float and temperature correcting scale on side and check each cell for bad batterys after waiting at least one hour after charging. The two batterys ( #5-#6 ) under drivers seat seem to go bad first for some reason?
Sounds like some new Trojans are heading your direction? |

Re: club cart vibrates then dies
SORRY HAD NOT SEEN YOUR POST ABOUT 3 day old batterys until after making my post.#1 You should always charge "NEW batterys" before driving for first time and never let them get much below 75%-80% at most until charging for 10-20 charges.
#2 Do as Gornman says and use 12 volt auto charger but monitor condition often as 8 volts batterys dont like 12 volts for very long. #3 Sorry to say that NEW BATTERYS are some times defective, in the case of Trojans thank heavens not very often caompare to some other brands? |

Re: club cart vibrates then dies
I think you've got a bad on-board computer or a bad charger relay. 45.5 Volts is more than sufficient to make the charger turn on. Check the fuses behind the charger receptacle and the #10 red wire running to the main positive post on the #1 battery (Pass Side, Rear) Make sure all that looks good. If so, you'll either need a charger relay or an OBC.

Re: club cart vibrates then dies
i would lean towards the OBC being the problem and thats not uncommon for the cart and even more so if its a 1st generation OBC they did have issues with them....................................
