95 Club Car Will Not Take A Charge-Update
I was on a few weeks ago and got some tips on what to check but nothing worked. I took the cart to Century Equipment(Toledo, Oh) and after two weeks they called and said that the computer is bad and it will cost $800.00 to fix it. My question is should I sepnd that much on a '95 cart or trade it in.
Thanks, |

Re: 95 Club Car Will Not Take A Charge-Update
If you are talking about the OBC (On Board Computer), that is WAY too high.....
The most I have ever seen 1 cost was $359 for the part and the labor takes about a half hour..... Even a slow mechanic could have it done in an hour, so unless they get $400 an hour....... |

well you see i told him 99.9 obc your right we tried i know we have guys like you scotty T-Dawg and O.M and others and between us all if you give us the info and in a day or to we got someones cart running, i hope he dosn,t let that place touch it 2 weeks to say bad obc and than the $$$$$$$$ no way ...............i think some people beleive because its a supposed computer its gonna be to hard to do when like you said take your time and an hour later your done.............but just about every 95 out there with the original or even the 2nd version if that cart won,t charge and the charger works its the obc............................

Re: 95 Club Car Will Not Take A Charge-Update
A 95 club car probably has the old OBC with the red light in the dash,The new upgaded model has a yellow light and can withstand more abuse. That price is way out of range and the whole job should be around 375.00 to 400.00 bucks and get you going.
