Post Club car predecent speedcode

I have a 2008 club car predecent and I recently had it serviced and it used to go around 23 mph now it does 17 mph so I'm pretty sure the guy changed the speedcode. I would just reach out to him and ask but unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer and is in intensive care. So I've read about speedcode 5 and I was wondering how to get one and how fast it would make my cart go. I have a american 6 inch double a arm lift kit with street tires.

I would think that if you contacted your local CC dealer and explained that situation to them, that they might reprogram it for you. It should be cost free as you already have the code and it only takes 2 minutes. Add $$ if they come to you to do the programming.

Check the brakes. They may have adjusted them too tight.
