tips on getting the motor loose
Got the 3 screws out, the motor is spinning around, i just cant get it off the spline.. any tips? already tried hitting w a rubber mallet, propping a piece of wood against the lugs and whacking with the rubber mallet..still stuck.. I dont know what to do next ??

Remove rear axle/differential/motor from cart.
With motor on lower side, protect threads on axle and drop assemble on something solid repeatedly until motor drops off. Or: With all cables removed from motor, tow cart slowly. The motor case isn't perfectly balance and the motor will eventually wobble itself off. If you plane to reuse the motor, protect the studs and their threads as well as draping something under to catch it when it falls. |

That’s pretty uncommon for an ezgo 19 spline motor. Much more common on the club cars. Usually the ezgo ones you can get off by shaking it.
