Replaced solonoid as per bobs suggestion and my own suspicion. Works like a charm. Back to 30mph top speeds we go!

Thanks again for the programmer tune! Ill probably sell this controller to a lucky bgw member, then get the 350 and send it off to you to the ultimate tune!

Do they have a upgraded solenoid that i should use to prevent and further problems?
This cart is the 2014, when ezgo was still using the 36v solenoid

This solenoid is HD (600a intermittent, 200a continuous). Its a "white rogers", and is approved by alltrax. Was yamaha oem & was overkill for the job. I'm still not sure how much I trust those orange chinese ones, but I havent really tried them either. The orange ones are shown in alltrax documents too.

Part number JF3-H1950-00-00. very expensive.

I have another option in mind for 36v coil (as was used on most RXVs).

None of the true HD solenoids will mount in the stock location under the stock cover, so forget about that part. You would need to add/reroute cables.

I'll get back with another (cheaper) option.

Consider "Trombetta bear 114-3611-020" as a cheaper alternative, it has a 225a/600a rating. This solenoid was used for years on Yamahas as oem equipment, and was really good (yamaha used the 48v version).
