Default 36v to 48v conversion question

The pedal and throttle mechanism does NOT need to be changed, when moving from 36v to 48v correct? (2001 early, TXT).

Correct but make sure the controller you get is set for the ITS type throttle. Also, TXT's of that era could be either "series" or "sepex". Controller has to match. Sepex has F/R switch on dash and run/tow switch on controller cover.

Some good info here: https://www.cartsunlimited.net/upgrade-suggestions.html

You will need a 48v controller and solenoid. A popular choice is the Alltrax SR48400 controller and SW180 solenoid. In addition to these electronics it will need 48v worth of batteries and a 48v charger like the Lester Summit 650w.
