Modifying the 72V Express L6 controller - Need Assistance
Has anyone had luck out there with the new 1236E-6433 Curtis controller on a 72V Express L6? I have read many threads on this forum and it sounds like I need to enlist Bob Boyce for this job...
I read the Curtis Controller 1236 Manual and it does have some very descriptive directions for increasing the speed. BUT... I dont want to mess it up. Will the 1314 programming station work for this and the BIG questions are in regards to the steps needed. I have extra time at home now and I doubt Bob wants to fly up here... Any help is greatly appreciated Any thoughts on replacing the controller: Navitas TAC 1.0 inst set up to replace the 1236 but hey will have a new controller soon... |

You do NOT want a Navitas, it is a HUGE step down from what you have, and will not support the existing factory hardware on your L6

Re: Modifying the 72V Express L6 controller - Need Assistance
I’m in the Twin Cities area along with MNguy. I’m interested in tweaking my 2018 Freedom TXT 72V.
Although I’m a little late to this party, I understand that Bob will occasionally travel to perform these services. Is a trip to the MN, WI area in the cards at all? |

MNGuy are you interested in traveling or pooling resources if we can arrange a meeting with Bob?

MNguy, trying to line up anyone from the Twin Cities area who may want Bob Boyce’s services when the dust settles.
