Default Powerwise II Charger Repair (capacitor question)

Heyas, first post here. Just picked up a 98 TXT DCS that needed some batteries. Well, found out this morning that the charger was crapped as well. Windings and diodes seem good, however the capacitor is shot. It's so rusted that I couldn't make out the markings, but from what I've found online it's 3uF 660VAC (charger model 602718). I'd like to get this thing going today and all I can find locally are 370/440VAC capacitors. I know typically in motor situations that using a lower voltage capacitor will severely decrease the life of the capacitor (and going lower than designed is bad in general). I know that capacitance and voltage ratings are linked as well in electronics design, but am unsure what the affect of deviation would be in this system. Has anyone tried using a 440 capacitor instead of a 660 rated one? If short capacitor life is my only issue, I'm fine with that as I can get one for $5 locally and be running today. Thoughts?
thanks!

Not a good idea, there are about 480v applied on that capacitor.

Ah, I didn't realize that. Just found it one of the manuals I was looking at as well, thanks!

I once tried to use the wrong size capacitor and managed one to get 30+ amps (pegged the ammeter) and a super loud buzz a few seconds before the circuit breaker tripped. I think I had put a 20MFD where a 4MFD was supposed to go.
