Default Is this supposed to be a charge indicator? - 2012 RXV

The dealer said that this thing will flash green when it is being charged and will stay green once it is fully charged. Is this really supposed to do that and if so any idea why mine won't work? I just got this cart yesterday but the dealer is 45 minutes away so I want to fix it myself if I can.

Also, what is the outside light? Are they for turn signals?

The green light flashes when cart is charging and goes steady green when charge is complete and off when charger is disconnected --- as I recall. Mostly only works with the charger that came from the factory. Most aftermarket chargers don't activate it. As long as the charger you have charges the batteries fully and cart operation is normal don't worry about it. I don't even notice it anymore or pay any attention to it. 2 cents

The outboard light is amber and will work as a turn signal if you have a turn signal kit included with your light kit. Many don't so if you want signals, try to determine the brand of your light kit and you can order the signal kit probably.

Also search with Google and try youtube.

Thanks a lot for that info. It is an aftermarket charger.
