Default Ezgo DCS PROBLEMS

Pack voltage 38.6. I get solenoid click but no move. Help

Thanks Scottyb. Everything tests perfect til I get to the solenoid. I have pack voltage on both sides on big posts. I guess I thought if it was clicking, it was working.

Don’t know what this means, if anything, but I jumped the solenoid with a battery cable and still got click on and off but no movement.

if jumping solenoid doesnt work, does that mean the problem is somewhere besides solenoid?

Yes. The solenoid is an electronically controlled switch. It's function is to supply battery power to the controller. If you jump across it, the controller IS getting battery power.

And all the controller numbers are good according to troubleshooting pages. Real frustrating.

Trial and error can be a very expensive way to fix a cart, or about anything else. Have you checked the motor?
