Default Front leaf springs

Hello everyone,

I have a 1990 EZGO Marathon.

Any help would be much appreciated! I think I have messed up pretty bad or have some funky stuff going on. I was replacing out the tie rod end that was busted and noticed that on the front lift one of the leaf springs was sticking out of the lift block and the other looked to be correct. On the correct one the bolt was in the hole of the block which looked right. WELL...... I thought I would loosen up everything and try to get the other in the hole because the front end looked crooked. Needless to say they are both in the hole now and it is WAYYYYY crooked. I measured the leafs and one was around 2 inches longer. Is this the way they are suppose to be? You can see on the leaf that when it was stock before the lift the leaf was in the right place because it has the marks on the leaf where it sat like that for awhile. Sorry for the long winded description. I really didnt know how to explain it. Hopefully this makes sence. I can post pics if need be. Let me know

Thanks for any help.

Hope this helps. Sorry, The pics are from my phone. Thanks big time for the quick responses. As you can see the left one is pushed way out but the bolt that is on the leaf is now in the hole like the one one the right was.

There are a few different lengths of springs that will bolt up .... Shorter ones fit your cart and longer ones are for the TXT models..... You need 2 the same or you will be going in circles
Post theose pics..... they are worth a 1000 words

So you think whoever put the lift on it swapped out one of the leaf springs? Just seems like a weird thing to do and not check the length of it before installing it. Either way makes sense. Thanks

Maybe one broke? But if they are different lengths then somebody had to have changed one out

and you need to change the bolts and use 4 short bolts on the bottom and 4 short bolts on the top. those long bolts wont hold it tight---

Get yourself a new set of leaf springs and a drop axle Get rid of that body lift ... you dont gain any ground clearance with it and honestly I don't like the long bolts either What about an upgrade?
