Re: Battery Light Stays On
Are you sure you have power to the charger. The OBC will click when it detects the charger is connected. would not be the first time this has happen to people.

Yes. The outlet is powered. I had tried a second outlet and also checked the breakers. I just plugged in a cordless drill charger to get the light for visual confirmation that the outlet is active.
Thanks. That was a good thought and I hoped I made that mistake. |

Been looking around for battery information. It doesn't look like there is much 12v information available on BGW. The sticky only reviews 6 and 8v batteries.
Any ideas on where and what to buy should I need replacement batteries? I share a little about my usage. IMO, I really don't use the cart much. I most likely will use is about 30 days per year and the typical run time for a day is less than an hour. I normally ride on paved roads with some hills and may be carrying up to 4 passengers. Usually that includes my wife and two daughters (6 and 4 years old). Thanks again for all the views and helpful responses. |

Re: Battery Light Stays On
I bought the US Batteries!! They seem to be working well. Cost was $750 for the set.

Well I checked the charge after being plugged in all night. Each of the 4 read 11.6. So I guess they are dead.
Does the fact that the charger clicks when plugged in rule out a bad charger? Thanks. T.Wells |

Yes the batteries are shot, but...... are you sure your charger is working? Does the amp meter on the charger move after you hear the charger click?

Re: Battery Light Stays On
...or the pack voltage is too low for the OBC to activate the charger.

Re: Battery Light Stays On
Try force charging the batteries to see if OBC is bad.
