Goes on bottom of cupholder area, cart wont run without it. Has Nothing to do with vehicle speed, except you will go 0 mph without it..

On the 2008-12 rxv, it is where the handheld programmer is plugged in. The port is not used in this way on 2012.5 and newer, but it is still there. I suppose it could be used to disable the cart from anyone else with the same key (everyone with an ezgo txt or rxv or marathon).
