Default Driven Clutch Bolt Breaking

A friend has a 2000 ezgo that the driven clutch bolt was lost one time installed a now bolt and bushing, That one broke drill it and got the last part out installed another one broke the first day. So is it the clutch the problem? Now I have part of the bolt in the spline shaft drill and then broke the extractor off in the center of the bolt part any help now on getting it out.

Is the bolt being torqued or just "winging it"?

Could be the clutch. After the bolt breaks the clutch is allowed to then be loose and causes excess play on the clutch splines.

Winging it. The clutch wiggles when put on the spline shaft with no bolt installed.

What do you mean by extractor? If it is an easy out, they are very hard and next to impossible to drill. Only hopes would be a cobalt bit and they are expensive.

My bolt has broken for the 2nd time in as many years. This time it took nearly 2 hours after breaking off a few drill bits and a broken bolt extractor. My car is a 97 txt gas. I retaped the hole. Torqued the new grade 3 bolt at 18 foot pounds.

For a 21 year old cart there is a little wobble at low rpm but it levels out at high rpm. How much wobble is acceptable? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
