1992 EZGO 4 stroke won’t suck gas into fuel pump
Pretty new to this. We got a 1992 ezgo 4 stroke on a trade. Didn’t run but cleaned spark plugs and got it running. Parked it, next day can’t get it to fire. Not sucking fuel into fuel pump. Replaced all three lines and new fuel pump. When we blow air into line it’ll suck gas. Cart set for awhile so we changed oil. No change. Charging battery again now. Don’t see any leaking oil anywhere. Any ideas?

We put a new fuel pump and sprayed stuff directly into carb and got it running. Ran for a few days the pulse line filled up with some white-ish liquid and now won’t run

White-ish liquid sounds like water in the oil.

There is a sticky at the top with maintenance info, look there. But basically pull the valve cover off, use a feeler gauge and stick it in between the lifter and the cam. Adjust the screw until there is a slight drag when you pull the gauge.
Filling the pulse line after you changed the oil sounds like there is something funky going on. |

Oil capacity is 1.5 qts max. Any more than that at it can get oil in the pulse tube and won’t pump. Dip stick may not be reading correctly if lifted

Mine was doing the same thing and after messing around with it with no success I tried it with the gas cap removed it worked fine. Turns out the vent on the cap wasn’t working replaced the cap now it works fine.
