Model Confusion
Noob to gas EZGO, had an electric Yamaha G29 that I couldn't keep dependable, the aftermarket controller would intermittently fail and it was so slow with the stock controller, so I picked up a Gas EZGO in preparation for the season.
Bought a low hour lifted EZGO with nice wheels and stereo for what I think was a really fair price. In trying to identify the model, I was initially unable to find the serial number, and judging by several of the identification websites, it appeared to be pointing towards a RXV as it has the big nose cone, but when I finally found the serial up under the seat towards the rear it indicates it is a TXT Valor from 2014. Did the later model TXT's change up body lines a little? I plan to add a few mods and wanted to confirm what I had, I assume the serial number sticker is gospel, but it wasn't really matching the descriptions on several of these websites. |

Re: Model Confusion
The newer TXT models got a bit of a facelift. They look a little like the RXV. The sure sign it is a RXV would be independent front suspension. Straight axle upfront would be a TXT.
