295cc long warm up
Afternoon, just rebuilt my 94 ez go marathon. It has a 295 robin engine. It runs ok after I putt up and down the street a few times but seems to really need to warm up. Last time it ran was 2 years ago and I don't remember it doing this. Almost seems sluggish from start. Not sure what the problem is. Here's a list of of things I just replaced: rebuilt fully dressed motor, battery, voltage regulator, starter/generator, neg and positive cables, belts, spark plugs, fuel, air filter and fuel pump/hose. Also changed the fluid in the rear. I haven't checked the valve clearance yet. The rebuilt motor was supposed to be to spec already.

Re: 295cc long warm up
I'd start with valve lash and give the carb a good cleaning pull all the Jets and blow forced air through the passages

Re: 295cc long warm up
Thanks for the info. Already gave the carb a good cleaning while I was waiting for some parts. Guess I'll check the valves next. Thanks!
