Default Parts interchangeable between EZ-GO and Bad Boy?

I bought my first golf cart last week. Its a Bad Boy Buggy. The year isn't clear but I think is probably somewhere around 2010 to 2012. We use it around our small farm.

When I bought it I knew it needed a new light switch. No big deal.

Today when I went to drive it, it was all caddywampus. The passenger side was noticeably lower than the driver side in the front. After examination, that shock is currently about an inch shorter than the other, so I think its not expanding like it should, and just needs replacement.

I went to look for both the switch and the shocks, and I'm not finding great sources of parts for Bad Boy. However, EZ-GO parts seem to be easy to find and from what I can tell online, they look identical. Interestingly, it appears that Textron now own both EZ-GO and Bad Boy.

Any thoughts on if the parts are interchangeable, and good sources for Bad Boy Buggy parts? Specifically shocks?

If anyone has anything else I should check as to why the cart is sitting caddywampus, I'm all ears.

If this is the wrong forum, I apologize, didn't find anything that was bad boy buggy specific, so went for the EZ-GO forum.

I do not know if the parts interchange but I have got parts for my buggy from a big badboy dealer in Georgia. GoodLuck

I would look a little closer at the springs and see if they were flattened on one side where someone hauled too heavy of load.

Where are you located? The reason I ask, I am in Alabama and I sold a non-running "project" BBB to someone locally with that same problem. It was the spring. I think an EZGO spring will interchange, if so be sure you get HD springs.

Very little actually interchanges with a Bad (boy) Buggy. Those things are literal junk. You don't want to own one. Endless money pits with no support and no parts network and no service manuals available unless you're desperate enough to become one of their dealers. They change entirely twice a model year so keeping up with them is a monumental task for little gain.

They offer a non-hunter a very hard, military ride quality, and if you're a hunter, they will undoubtedly stall out after you have loaded up your quarry. Just ask yours truly here. I had to install two of those blasted Sevcons while three dead deer (two on the roof) were dripping blood all over me.

We can build a good lifted car for 1/4 the price of what a Bad Boy costs new. And, you'd get real support, better ride, and better reliability.

Bad Boy Buggies are well....Bad.
